Bowel Screening

Bowel cancer is the third most common cancer in Scotland, but it’s highly treatable if caught early.

In fact, 9 out of 10 people survive the disease if it’s detected and treated in its earliest stages.

All men and women aged 50–74 are invited for bowel screening. Bowel screening involves taking a simple test at home every two years.
